Ok, maybe back to diapers at night, sometimes. We've had a few accidents lately....
Speaking very well. Though still say she and he instead of her or him. "Tell she that I don't like it."
Likes privacy in the bathroom. After being put on the toilet, he'll say, "mom, go look at a book"

No diapers at night. Yippee!
Gets his own water and ice.
Loves to play chase with Dad and shouts "na na na na!"

Can set up a video game or Xbox all by himself.
No more diapers during the day. This time it's final.
Loving a jump from anywhere or anything, but very aware of heights.
Uses past tense when appropriate.

Recognizes almost all the letters.
Makes up letter sounds
Loves to dress up. Costume of choice is Darth Vader, but any will do.
Can do somersault unassisted

Buckles his own seatbelt.
Gets dressed by himself.
Moves chair quietly as needed to climb on counters, turn on lights or get on the table.
Can cut with scissors
Took the rails off his bed.

Very good at repeating words if asked.
Writes scribbles on paper and will "sound out" and "read" what it says to you.
"Roars" like a lion and likes to pretend he's a puppy.
Enjoys using LEGO men and making them fight or talk to each other.
Told me "no" when I asked him to help me. Immediately got a time out. He then decided he didn't want a time out and kept trying to leave the spot I picked. After about 15 times, he stayed in his spot for the two minute punishment. Uh oh!

Often tells us "pcause" and will end his story with "me so funny!"
Goodbye for good, Crib! Sleeps with baseball Curious George, Fluffy, and his thumb."
Can ride the tricycle.
When his feelings are hurt by his brother, he cries and says "my stomach hurts"
Punches back if Ethan pushes or tries to control him.

Moved his big bed into the same room with Ethan. Sleeping there fine, but comes to my room around 6:30 and yells "Mooom! The sun is up!" E & Alvin sleep right through...
Wore big boy pants to the park!

Came up with calling people "you, wicked wicked creature". Then laughing.
Moving to the big bed from his crib.
Can ride the big wheel.

Finally some successful potty training.
Removes his own shoes coming into the house.
Can take off his own shirt and pants. Which means the diaper comes off too.

Will give you a backrub if you beg for it.
Can get cup out of drawer and help himself to water from fridge door.
Likes to play with play dough
Used craft scissors to cut cords on kitchen mini blind.
Correctly used the phrase with sing song voice "one minute..." when asked to come into dining room.

Very interested in going outside with or without snow.
Likes to sing "Happy Birthday" and will just sing it to himself
Started potty training!

Learning how to provoke my brother until he hits me or gives me what I want.
Sings Star Wars theme when asked. Will sing along to "You are my Sunshine" and "Take me out to the Ballgame."

Say "Yeah, do" when told "no Aidan that's not for you"
Points out people in photos and tells us who they are.
Loves Curious George and Toy Story.
Likes to climb up onto the arms of the couch and ride it like a horse.
Can turn on the water, get soap and wash own hands. Often asks for toothpaste to brush teeth.
Went to the dentist for first visit, let them add floride.

Can draw a circle.
Remembering people for specific things. (Aunt when hands are cold and need to be rubbed, Josh and Pa for star wars, Ethan when you say knight, Mimi when he picks up the phone)
Started sleeping with a pillow in his crib. Says he's "Ooozy" for cozy
Knows Buzz, Woody, Nemo, Dory, cookie and Elmo.
Loves to pretend to cook.

Talking more consistently. Mimicking most two syllable words.
Climbing! Willing to go to great heights!
Say "arry" without prompting when hurting some people
Broke Dad's glasses
Ears are so bendy, can push top of ear into earhole and sometimes it will stick for a minute.

Will do a head tilt when saying "please" in a higher pitch.
Count to three with couching.
Able to ride the "ride on" toys successfully alone.
Can draw a circle which he calls a ball.

Like to pretend he his a baby. After you give him a pretend bottle he will sit up and burp. : )
Remembering names and asking to see people.
Speaking more clearly and after you repeat to him what was said he will say "Yeah" as two syllables.
When you sing the Sponge Bob song he will make the sounds for the name at that section of the song.
Pronouncing marked "K" sounds.
Like to say 'baseball' when you ask him what he likes.
Can hit a baseball with a bat almost everytime.

Saying lots of single words even two syllables.
Put two words together like "peas momma".
Now clearly saying "Mine"
Mimi and 'Pa taught me "baseball" which I sing to my self with the emphasis on the first syllable.
Looks for his fluffy at bedtime.

LOVE bugs & birds and say "buh"
Say "yeah" very clearly and "no" even more clearly. Also say "me me" for spiderman and "momo" for Elmo or Nemo and "oooose" for juice. Best of all "EEEEE" for Ethan
Can point to all body parts.
Can climb on top of the guest room bed by myself.
Can drink out of a cup all by myself.
Go on all 3 slides at the school playground.

Identifying people from their photos, say "mimi, pa, this, tank (thank you) "
Went down the slide at the park alone for the first time and loved it. Cried when it was time to leave.
Started sleeping regularly with a bear we named junior fluffy. : )

Really sticking up for myself from Ethan by taking an open leg stance and saying "pow"
Climbing up on chairs in dining room and if needed up on the table.
Interested in pulling apart and then climbing in any drawers, baskets, or boxes readily available. Will move faster if sensing parental approach.
Make "mmmmmmwwah" sound when giving kisses.

Like to take my dad's book and walk around with it then sit and pretend to read.
Can get off a bed all by myself.
Have a third bottom tooth.
Finally sleeping through the night consistantly. Get to bed around 8:15 and sleep until 7.

Got an eye tooth on the bottom.

Climb everything and need to know what is happening around here.
Say " ball, broccoli, cheese, daddy, mommy, car and E-han" Point and vocalize louder and louder until understood.
Got 4 top teeth and 2nd bottom tooth.
Dance to any music.
Get excited when "Little Einsteins or Teletubbies" are on tv.

Got my adenoids out.
Say "more" by speaking and through sign language
Say "this" and point to what I want.
Will twirl when you sing 'ring around the rosey'
Oh, and I have one tooth on the bottom and the other next to it is coming in...

Walking fast.
Do 'high five'
Shake head 'yes' and 'no'
Points to eyes, ears, nose, mouth, belly, feet and hair when asked.

Fast! I move very quickly and can now climb under things like coffee tables
Like to take the spoon away when I'm being feed and feed myself.
Enjoy being on riding toys though I can't move them on my own.

Can scuttle across the floor. My version of crawling.
Can sit down from standing position and will stand against things, but not alone yet.
Able to knock down a stack of blocks.
Will do my version of jumping by holding on to side of crib and bending knees.

Can pull myself up.
Like to stand next to the coffee table and play. Will 'walk' along the side.
Can lean way forward to reach something and sit up again or get down on my tummy, but don't crawl yet.
Say 'EEEEEEEE' sound to call my brother.

very good at manipulating toys and also people to retrieve toys that I have thrown to the ground.

Like to "play" with toys, basically put everything in mouth.

Try to talk by making vowel sounds
Stare intently at a new person and then will smile if they keep talking to me.
Sleep for 8 hours twice in the last two weeks. Ahhhhh...

Sleeping better - got a 5 1/2 hour stretch last night!
Champ at spitting up
Like to look for my brother and will track him with my eyes and move my head toward him.

Likes throwing his head around to get a better view - often done when on your shoulder
Enjoys making social commentary about whoever is holding him such as "Baaa" and "Whaaa"
Likes to watch Football with Dad.
(Note from Dad - I'm not sure
but from the noises he makes when we watch, he like the 49ers)

Likes to Sleep... but not too much!
Enjoys a quick late night stroll around the den with Dad before bed.
Finds it helpful to explain that he is full by spitting up on your shoulder
